How can i meet more friends and chat more on yahoo?

Alot of my friends don't have yahoo so I want to meet some new friends on the internet. Help???!!!!!

How can i meet more friends and chat more on yahoo?
i don't know if i'm what your expecting. i'll talk to you through yahoo answers for a while because i'm not into giving out my e-mail address to everyone who asks for it. and i don't like to talk to people just to say "i have friends". i like to talk to them because i want to and i am interested in what they have to say..........
Reply:You might try one of the chat rooms, find some there you'd like have more one-on-one chat with and invite them to do so with you. But, be cautious about those you meet in a chat room. Don't invite someone who might be disreputable or harmful to you.
Reply:Well you have to go in games chat room and meet people at your age.
Reply:Send messages to the people who's answers you relate to. You may have things in common, and be able to spark up a conversation. You might make a friend that way. Good Luck!!
Reply:hi my name is tatianna and i would love 2 be your friend just im me when ever u want 2 talk
Reply:DONT CHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a good way for like rapists and people like that to find ur address phone number name and come do something bad to you if you chat, so i recomend NOT to chat. Go 2 the yahoo directory is u wanna find sm1.
Reply:hey jus mail me...im always available 4 friends
Reply:you just did

Where can I meet new friends?

I just moved to a new city and I dont know anyone, im not in school but i would like to meet new friends... where would be a good place to meet people besides work... where i work there is only older people (like in there 50's) so I cant really hang out with them, ... thanks

Where can I meet new friends?
what do you like to do? do you like reading? go to a local library. do you like music? go to a local music or CD store. And when you see someone who just so happens to have a CD or Book you owned, bring up your opinion on the book. Or better, let the friends come to you.

How can I meet some friends?

I am so lonely every day! I don't have any friends to call up and talk to. I used to call my Mom and chat with her but she passed away last year. I feel like I could cry! I only have my 16 month old daughter for company during the day until my husband gets home. When he does, he just wants to get on the computer and entertain himself and acts like I bother him when I try to talk.

Does anyone have any ideas of where I can go to meet some friends? I have to be able to take my toddler with me. Thanks.

Maybe you could take one of those Mommy and Me classes, the ones were you take your kids and hang out with other moms and their children. The have everything from Yoga to painting. My cousin kinda felt lonely too after her husband started to travel a lot and she now goes to yoga class everyday with her 11 month old son. Maybe start from there and branch outward. Also if you live in a neighborhood you could invite the neighbors over for a potluck dinner.

Hope it helps!
Reply:well maybe you should try to look for groups of mothers and try to meet friends threw that, or you could try to get out some, go to the park a book store and take your daughter and see what you find!
Reply:One of the best things I've found is church groups. Many churches sponsor activities for single parents to meet other people. Some larger city community centers do this also. You could also check your area for singles' groups.
Reply:awww poor you, it's ok, I've got some ideas for you.

- Join a non-profitable organization, volunteer there. (Church, YMCA etc)My friend's mom goes there weekly and meets many great women as companions. They share thoughts, opinions, work together.

- Go on the computer, and chat with people, they can be your cyberfriends, it's fun! :D

- Go to the library, it's a great place! You get to meet people that are hardworking, and knowledgable.

- Attend social events *concert, chats, etc*

- Try to talk your neighbors sometimes, jog around in the morning, also a great excercise, around your house, nearest blocks. You might get to meet great people

- Find a job, your colleagues will be great friends!

Good luck and have fun!
Reply:Try meetup.com and find groups in your area that interest you. You can search for stay home moms, or any of your hobbies/interests. You can also try to look at what's going on in your area based on dates.

Good luck!

How can me and my husband meet new friends that we both can accept?

me and my husband have been together 4 years and married 3 months, and we only have a couple friends toghter..and we get tired of doing the same ****..we are not very good at meeting new people in person...but we are very funny and like to be our selves and most people dont like us for us..we are not judgemental and we dont want anyone else to be... we just want to meet new peolpe to talk to hang out with and have coffee with, but we want to be able to feel comfortable with each others friends...i am 29 and he is 28 and he works his *** off at least 6 days a week, and usually sunday's are our only free day to do anything after church.. and dont worry we are not all preachy or anything. DOES ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS TO MEETING NEW PEOPLE TO CHILL WITH , THAT ARE TRUSTWORTHY????

i'd say have a party at your place for people to get together and interact with you all and see whom would be good quality people to associate with.
Reply:what about people from your kids school you must know alot of other parents there

After being together 6 years my boyfriend won't let me meet his friends. Is this normal?

Me and my BF have been together for almost 6 years. I'm 26 %26amp; he is 31. He has never made it a point to let me meet his friends. In all of the time we have been together I have only met some of his friends once a few years ago because we bumped into them when we were out somewhere together. He didn't even introduce me. I also know he has a lot of chick friends too. I haven't met any of them either. When he hangs out with his friends I am never invited along even though they bring their girlfriends along too sometimes. It didn't bother me so much at first cause the last few years I have been so busy with going to college full time and working full time that I barely had time to myself. I've asked him several times if I could meet his friends and he always says maybe next time or I just want to hang with them by myself. Is this normal? He's met all of friends. What do you guys think? Any advice would be great.

He is married or lives with some other lady. He is hiding something. And the fact you havent caught onto this before now astounds me.
Reply:What is wrong with him? Or better question: what does he think is wrong with you that he does not want his friends to see?

Dump that jerk!
Reply:Go back to where you said "It didn't bother me so much at first cause the last few years I have been so busy......". The relationship developed into what you wanted and he has been happy with status quo. Now you are not so busy and wanting the relationship to change. This does not suit him because he was happy how things were.

There is a school of thought starting to emerge as to where a person who is very busy will accept a 'okay' relationship because it really does not require the time committment for it to survive. Perhaps this is what has happened here, only you can answer the question.

For 6 years this man has been able to have the perfect 'life' of having his girlfriend and his friends without any of the usual complications ie friends not liking you, you not liking some of his friends. Or, everyone liking each other and then they become our friends instead of 'his' friends.

You need to sit down and talk about what has been happening for the past 6 years? And what expectations you both have of the relationship now.

If you are both going through confusion as to what is happening see a professional relationship counsellor. One thing I do know is that the 'male of the species' do not like changing the rules when everything was okay as it was.

Good luck, hope this helps a bit.
Reply:I'm going to quote Chris Rock here. Ladies: if you've been dating a man for four months, and you haven't met any of his friends, YOU ARE NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND.
Reply:Run. Run fast. He's obviously hiding something, and you've already wasted way too much of your life. Give him an ultimatum.
Reply:That just isn't right, mabey he is insecure and doesn't want to share you. After six years, wow, get help.
Reply:Definitely, not normal.
Reply:That's not normal. In fact, it is extremely suspicious.
Reply:It's not normal at all. It doesn't sound like he is going to change either. I don't want to be cliche' and say "leave him" but, honestly can this really make you happy the rest of your life.
Reply:Hes either ashamed of you or has other women he doesnt want you to know about. dump him. Either way, he's a looser.
Reply:It sounds like he does not want you to meet his friends for some reason. No..that is not normal especially since you have been with him as long as you have. Has he let you meet his family? Maybe he is afraid that if you meet his friends someone will tell you something that he does not want you to know. Sit down and have a serious talk with him and ask him why this is and tell him that you would like to share his life with him and since his friends are part of his life that you would like to meet them and go with him when he spends time with them.
Reply:he probably doesn't have any
Reply:No, that's not normal... maybe if it were six months or stretching it a year.. but after six years and he still hasn't integrated you into his life?

To be honest, I'd seriously ask him what the problem is after six years. Does he not want anything further? Is there some other reason?

Sounds fishy to me.
Reply:this is not really normal becasue he could be hiding you from his friends and hiding stuff from you.
Reply:Knowing now what I didn't know then, when the gf shows up at a social gathering with his friends, she'll develop opinions of his friends. Usually not good ones. That's when the friends start developing this sense of negative vibe with her. The friends start hanging out less and less, until all you have left is each other. He will be friendless, and you will be the one to blame.
Reply:Reread your question and pretend he was writing it. Get a reality check and work your way out of denial.
Reply:Not normal.
Reply:move on honey if your looking for a serious relationship.he's apparently not ready, if he were you would know alot of his frends and they would know you after 6 years.so move on and say bye bye
Reply:If I were you I'd be wondering if he wasn't proud of me, was cheating on me (i.e. "has a lot of chick friends") or if he was hanging with hoodlums or all of the above. At any rate this is not a healthy relationship girl. From one girl to another, get out of this relationship. He sounds like he's hiding something.
Reply:no, not normal. he is hiding something and is afraid his friends might "let the cat out the bag" set up one day a week that he goes with "his friends" and tell him u you want to go to, but change the day every week. sorry, but there is something weird about that
Reply:In 6 yrs you should know his friends and family by first name. What is he hiding?

My shy boyfriend doesnt want to meet my friends. what should i do ?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for just about a month. We have known each other for a few years. Well since we have gotten together we have hung out with his friends. and i have kinda pushed my friends away. so i asked him to go meet my friends and lets go hang out with them. he refuses to meet my friends. i feel like this my cause a big strain on our relationship. what can i do?

My shy boyfriend doesnt want to meet my friends. what should i do ?
He thinks your cooler than he is
Reply:wow...i guess were both in a same sitaution...my bf too don't like to hangout w/my friends. plus he doesnt like them too..

my option we cannot force them if they dont want to isn't??? plus i dont see any problem if he haven't met your friends yet. if your friends teased you cuz of that....well it just mean they are being narrow minded. last saturday my friends was teasing me cuz my bf wasn't with me in the party that i went. yap they are teasing me and telling bad stuff about my bf....that maybe his out with someone...something like that....

first of all you should see your friends situation too in terms of their lovelife......if your friend is heart broken...i'm pretty sure that friend of yours will try to put your man down THATS 100% SURE cuz for her/him all man/lady are pigs. you know what i mean....

any how dont pressure your bf about this sitaution.....maybe he has a reason why.....good luck
Reply:try to get him to a place that your friends. be like "HEY! what a coicidence my friends are here!" and then grab him by the hand and drag him over there. If he doesnt want to, thats his problem he doesnt want to get to know your friends.
Reply:That is not right. Here is why, I know you like this guy, but what happens if you break up and you have pushed all of your friends away? Moreover, you should still feel that you can hang out with your friends maybe once every few weeks. Why don't you tell him you want to hang out with your friends and he can hang out with his friends every so often?

Don't loose your friends over a guy.
Reply:hes just woried they wont like him. Just "accideltly" bump into some of your friends one day. Then he will find out there is nothing to be worried about.

Go to church. Join a gym. dont go through the bar scene because you dont want a drunk. Churches have singles functions. Gyms have healthy men. Good Luck!
