What does it mean when you're dating a guy and he says that he wants to meet some of your friends? I am not looking for a simple answer like, "Oh, he likes you." What exactly is a guy looking for when he meets your friends?
He wants to meet your friends...?
Its a natural move in a relationship - you move from dating to meeting friends to meeting family etc.
He's probably looking for several things.
There's alot you can learn about someone by seeing who they hang out with and how they act when they're around their friends. Its easy to put our "best foot forward" on a date but when we're around our friends we tend to lower our guard and just be ourselves. Its another step in getting to know someone, so I'm sure its an indication that he's interested in learning more and continuing the relationship.
There's also the question of will I like her friends? Its uncomfortable to continue dating someone who surrounds themselves with people you can't stand. So, its natural, when a relationship progresses to double check that you like their friends, perhaps can make some new friends.
