Traveling to her city to meet for 1st time.She wants me to also meet her group of friends?

It's "stressful" enough just meeting for first time but to also have to meet with her group of friends, it seems more like on display or judgement. This is a weekend thing and perhaps, if we are interested, perhaps meeting her friends the next time we get together would be better. Want decisions to be based on us and not outsiders for the first meetings...its distracting enough without having to deal with her friends the first time? I don't mind meeting them, but again want this about us and not them and us....Thoughts, ideas, reasons?

Maybe its a safety issue for her to have people around. If she insists don't push her to change her mind and go with the flow. You arent a bad guy right? so why worry about the Jury?
Reply:Chances are she is really nervous about meeting you. That's why she wants her friends with her. Talk to her and tell her that you'd rather meet her and maybe next time meet them. Tell her you are just as scared as she is.
Reply:Tell her how you feel. She may just want her friends for support. She may be nervous about meeting for the first time. I met my guy for the first time face to face on a kid date. He brought his neices and I brought my kids and we met at a park. It helped me be less nervous.

Reply:Dude girls are always going to do this. There friends tell her how they feel about you and rather you are right for her. I understand how stressful this is but just be yourself around them if she wants you to meet her friends cause girls do know when you are lying and not true. Also talk to her and tell her how you feel about meeting her friends. Tell her you would rather meet them next time and if she still pushes you to meet them then like I said be yourself. Good Luck
