My mom doesn't want to meet my best friends mom?

I am going over to my friends house in an hour, and her mom told me friend to clean up the house, so my mom and her mom can talk I guess. My mom isn't like that, she isn't one to talk to my friends parents. I told me friend that my mom just wants to drive by and drop me off, and my friends like, 'well, are parents haven't met yet, she has to meet my mom.' I asked my mom if she was going to meet my friends mom, and she said no. I asked her why, and she just said no. I don't know what to do. I don't feel comftrable, going over there without my mom talking to her mom. What should i do??? please help

Your mother is who she is and prefers not to socialize and thats her perogative. Just because this girl is your friend doesnt mean your mother has to socialize with her mother. Let it go. Just go over and explain that your mother is the quiet nonsocial type. Theres nothing wrong with her being who she is.

if you like her familly , then you shouldn't feel uncomfortable around them.
