I'm from Roanoke, Virginia. I don't know of any safe meeting places in my area to meet friends from online. How do I verify that they are who they say they are? Can I meet someone alone if I bring a weapon?

Reply:even if you did,it's not safe no matter where your at,or meet at. I agree with everyone...you should meet kids your own age at school.
Reply:ask them if you can bring a couple of friends if they say no dont do that then stay away from them and never talk to that person again.. by the way it is probly not a good idea to be carrying a wepon around town and there is no way of acctually knowing who the person is you are talking to unless you already know them personally.
