Am on dating site to meet friends and maybe a nice genuine man, - I hope anyway, one guy have been in contact, an american, living in UK, but working in Africa at moment, not met yet as he away, but coming back to UK soon, getting to know over texts,mails and phone, professes he loves me and wants to be with me, am start to feel close to him (not desperate tho) dont know why I feel so close to him, he seems lovely, a he spose to come back to UK last week, but say weather delay, seem like excuse, sposed to have sent something in post to me, once by courier and then post but not arrive, at first he very enthuiastic attentive with texts, mails etc. but contact gets less and less, like he 4get me, he spose to be home this week and we meet at heathrow, he suspend profile on date site as he say he love me and only text evry couple days, saying he love me, normally am trusting but having doubts as to whether he is messing me round and has me dangling on string, like to think not, help!!

Has he asked you for money yet? This guy sounds like he is one of those Nigerian scammers. Be careful!!!
Reply:don't chat a lot on those things. Make dates in public places and meet the date....anyone who says they love you over the internet is crazy..

Reply:it's a great way to meet people and you get to choose the dating spot the best thing you could do is when you make a date is to just show up and time schedules can change in a flash I've tried it a couple of times and they didn't show so if they don't want to give you the time of day why should you good luck in future endevers
