I want to meet friends at my lecture class, how do I start a conversation?
Get there early. Offer someone near you a piece of gum. Ask to study with someone specific. Ask to compare notes. Smile, but don't be too eager beaver. If you see someone outside of class, say hey aren't you in my lecture?
