Reply:Take a walk in your neighborhood and stop %26amp; talk to neighbors who are out %26amp; about. Or join a church, or go out every weekend to the same hangout and get to know regulars there, like a corner bar, restaurant, bowling alley...


You might also try having a get together with friends from work(both of your jobs) Invite 10-20 people from you husbands job and your for a dinner, or for snacks during the game on tv, tell them all to bring their significant others %26amp; a pot luck dish and socialize.

Reply:Join a group. Any and all kinds that interest you. Art, dance, theater, church, etc. That way you'll meet people with the same interests. DON'T go out to bars unless you like having drunk friends and in which case I say go for it if that's your cup of tea.
