My new boyfriend wants me to meet his "catty" girl friends.?

he wants me to meet his friends who are a particularly tight group and has warned me that 5 of his friends are girls who will be there are very judgemental and can be "catty" to outsiders especially females. After further conversation, he told me that 4 of them have crushes on him or have in the past.Please Give me your best advice for being warm, open and CONFIDENT

If they do have crushes on him, there's nothing on God's green earth you can do right in their eyes, because you're the competition. They'll never be your friends.





The GOOD news is that unless your boyfriend's a total fool, he's layed the law down with his female friends, and they'll be respectful to you out of respect to him. If he lets them treat you like crap, then he's not only failing as your boyfriend, he might be purposely trying to set up a catfight to boost his ego and enjoy watching the competition over him.





Don't play that game. He should be worried about weather or not you like his friends, and they should be treating you like royalty. I would accept no less from my female friends.

Reply:I cannot pretend to understand how the girl rivalry thing works. Try to be nice and do talk to them. If you don't they will think you are stuck up. If they have a romantic interest in him, there might be little you can do.
