A lot of my friends have settled down and ive just come out of a serious relationship. My friends don't have time to socialise anymore. Is there a site where i can meet people of the same sex without thinking i'm after more than friendship! Thanks!
How can you meet new friends in the UK in the local area?
depends on how old you are and if you are a male or female, if it was me I'd apply at the local pub and do some bar work, and if you have a hobby join a local club of some sort, or a gym, and also look in the local rag, i used to see adverts for singles nights, just put on a brave face and turn up! theres always avenues for a bit of voluntary work, you could always put your sex and age on here and your area and see if anybody local answers, put an advert in the singles column in the paper for no strings friends,
Reply:I was in the same situation, I joined mutualfriends.co.uk to find others in my area, and now got me a new circle of girl mates! It's £2 per week I think but when you've got in touch with people get their email address to chat through and cancel subscription.
