I have no friends. How do I (female) meet female friends, guys too, but not boyfriends??

I have no friends. I am a young woman. Im a loner but im starting to feel lonely. I had 2 best friends but they're acting weird like they dont like me anymore. I moved a lot growing up so it was hard keeping friendships. Now im settled and 22, and I want to meet good female friends. Where do I go? How do I do this? Im really down to earth and girly. I love fashion, shoes, girly tv shows, getting pampered, shopping, drinking starbucks, having sleepovers, and talking. I also love to cook and host get togethers. I dream of having friends to take roadtrips with, go on picnics with, and even hit the beach. I need females who are honest and open and down to earth. Definetly not catty or gossipy. Girlfriends that I can lean on, and talk to with issues I may be having. Im really kind, and not selfish, and love company. I dont mind hanging with guys too, when they're not trying to f*ck me. Gay guys are cool too but I dont even know how to meet them! Please help if you can:)

i'll be your friend, I moved to a new area and i'm in the same boat. i hate being lonely even though i am a bit quiet too. you could try going to clubs..meeting friends at a job..public swimming pools, volunteer events, parks, talent shows or contests, taking classes or activities, or volunteer at a animal shelter (i met great caring people there)

But to meet real life friends, maybe through work or school? Or hang out at those places you enjoy and start talking to people.


I don't have many friends myself especially real life ones now that I am 26 because I am very involved in getting my own life together you know. Most of mine are online.
Reply:That's too bad try being a little extroverted hanging out @ places with alot of people make friends through work and school definitely.I know how you feel I live in a place that has peaked rents during the summer so We go away and it sucks not having friends for that time.U sound like a good person so it shouldn't be that hard for you to make a friend or two.Just be yourself and try not to come on too strong.You're bound to make friends.Just make sure they don't take advantage of you.
