How to Make Friends & Meet New People?

I have a somewhat interesting dilemma. I recently switched from a school where I had multiple friends but no really deep friendships, to a school where I knew a few people, and now to a newer school where I know no one.

I am tired of being lonely. The problem is that the school I am currently at has no classes or clubs that I am interested in, where I could meet people. And friends outside of school won't help my school situation. It is already half way through the year, and I am beginning to fear that I have blow it. Everyone made there new friends in the first few weeks of school, and since this is also my junior year everyone already became friends their freshman year.

I am just wondering what I should do. I don't know anyone, no one ever sits next to me in class, or talks to me. The school doesn't have a library, or anything.

Any ideas on what to do?

Where should I look for people like myself?

I don't do drugs or drink, So where can I find a good group of people?

Thanks!

How to Make Friends %26amp; Meet New People?
I had a situation like this last year. Here's what I did, and considering I'm a fairly shy person, it'll probably work out for most people:

I looked for a group of people I was interested in hanging out with. Maybe different people from different groups. I did this during lunch, and eventually, I found a good looking group of three people (who are now my best friends.)

I started sitting near them, and everyday I would sit closer and closer. I'd try talking sometimes, maybe make a comment on how the lunch is inedible or something similar.

I'd talk more and more until we talked everyday, and at one point I was invited to sit right next to them.

After this, our friendship grew to the point were we always do things together.

You don't have to do this during lunch; any time at school that will work for you will be fine. But what worked for me was just random small talk to the point where you have big conversations. Good luck!
Reply:I am just a 8th grader but I swiched schools alot and I can tell you that the city metro bus is a great place to meet people

-have you tried that?

then maybe get a girlfriend/boyfriend hook-up

go out with somone and they will introduce you to their friends and so on

I've never tried this myself but I assume it would work :)
