Jorge, it's very sweet that you are hoping to make some friends in Vancouver through the computer, but as you can see, no one has answered your query. Vancouverites are generally a little less friendly and open than people from other parts of the country or world - we don't make friends as easily or as quickly as others - and that's even when we can see people face to face! So expecting someone to meet you over the computer is just going to be a really unsuccessful way to make friends - only a very odd and possibly dangerous person would agree to meet you, I think. Once you get here, especially if you plan to take English classes here, you will meet lots of friends. I really think this would be the best thing for you.
